Before you write
- Corrections: every ad price comes from a USDA Market News grocery feature report, and every official price from the BLS; each item page names and links its sources. If our page differs from the source, tell us the page and what's wrong; we fix errors and note significant corrections on the page. Ad prices are averages across many stores, so a price at your store can differ without either being wrong.
- Reuse: the CSV downloads, embeddable charts and weekly brief are free to reuse with a link back. Tell us if you need something else.
- How we check the data: see data checks.
